  Yummy food but it is in the Lakes' tourist haven, so you do pay for that a bit. However, they have a great menu (including for the veggies!), a great view of all the people moving around you outside the restaurant and for lunch the soup was delicious.

  We got there around 10.30am on the Sunday morning but it quickly filled up. We sat outside and had our order taken quickly. Unfortunately it didn't come as ordered.
  The freshly squeezed Orange juice was delicious, the salmon and scrambled egg lovely. The waitress informed us to pay at the counter inside where I found the staff not saying a single word to me as I am paying my bill! Disappointing service.

  Decided to spend my Birthday in Windermere and thanks to Lighthouse staff I had the worst birthday in my life! I ordered pasta with king prawns and we asked for a permission if my partner can take his own food he has a specific diet. The staff member told "of course, there is not a problem!" And after getting my order and starting eating they approached us, telling that we cannot eat anything from somewhere else in their restaurant, even if one of us ordered from them. I told that we asked for permission beforehand to avoid any confusion, but they still were rude and told we have to take that food away. Then I asked them to pack my pasta I ordered from them, as I didn't want to continue eating in a place where they were so rude to us. And you cannot imagine what they did! They tossed my pasta inside a pizza box and gave to me! Can you imagine eating pasta right from the pizza box? I wish I could upload the photo of it here. So, I went out without my pasta, hungry and angry with spoiled birthday. They have the worst customer services and the most unprofessional staff members. Not recommended!
