  My partner and I ate here June 2017 before going to the Royalty Cinema which is just a three minute walk away. The food was really delicious and portions were really generous. I had the fillet of salmon which was cooked to perfection, skin removed and served in a gorgeous capsicum, butter and parsley sauce. Modern attractive interior with open plan kitchen and friendly helpful staff. Totally recommend this restaurant. (We were worried about parking as we were driving to Bowness but easily found parking on a nearby street)

  Visited as part of a meal deal with the Royalty cinema and was very impressed with the service, the quality of the food and the speed we were served even though there was a large party in at the same time as us, will certainly be visiting again :)

  Food is not bad, but I personally do not like fish. The service is a disaster, the attitude of the middle age female servant with a glass is disgusting. She's attitude to local people seems not bad, so I strongly recommend tourists do not go to this restaurant as it is highly unfriendly to tourists.
  
  看见外面挂的传统午餐条幅和窗子上贴的中文宣传单，以为是一家对旅客友善的餐厅，结果进去后大失所望。
  
  食物的话勉强过关，甜点没有尝，前菜都还可以，主食牛肉还不错，羊肉太膻且没什么味道。鱼简直是灾难，除了腥味就没别的味道了。
  
  环境差得很，幽暗昏黄的光线，摆放位置差劲的木桌和质量看起来廉价劣质的桌椅让人完全不想多加停留。
  
  服务真的就差我给她叫爹了，服务员一个中年约四十岁左右的白人金发戴眼镜的女性，长得像个教导主任，服务差到令人发指，真的是令人发指，我都以为我不是在英国。首先在一边收拾餐盘时都是“邦邦邦”地往洗碗池或收纳盒里丢，特别大声响吵死人；其次刀叉直接给我摆在桌子上，就是前文提到的那个劣质桌子，我不知道是我孤陋寡闻不了解当地习俗，但这是我吃的第一家刀叉直接摆在桌子上的。
  
  最后那个女服务员态度真的太差了，点餐时相当不耐烦，首先点菜时问甜点没好气地叫我把前菜主食一一点完再问甜点；然后点餐时问牛肉后面的supplement是这道菜额外加3.95还是多出3.95可以多加什么配菜，这傻逼服务员态度相当不耐烦，一点都不夸张，真的是tm想一嘴巴给她扇过去的那种不耐烦
  ，说这个牛肉很昂贵所以要多加3.95，
  好哦好厉害15磅很昂贵的牛肉好珍惜哟。然后问有什么啤酒时说除了本地啤酒还有四种啤酒机里的牌子，喊我爸去啤酒机那看一眼，大约半分钟，这傻逼服务员她在旁边又是白眼又是叹气，最后点完走之前很刻意很大声深吸一口气，特别刻意挤出一个微笑，有点后悔当时没直接走人，诚意推荐莫去此店。
